Commemorating Hiroshima and Nagasaki 8-9-26

On Sunday the 9th, we met to discuss ethics and morals in the realm of the Nuclear Arms Conundrum, commemorating Hiroshima-Nagasaki. We watched a documentary, and we listened and discussed. Here is how John McCabe captured our meeting:

Dear Doctor Granoff,

It was impressive to be in attendance as you addressed us yesterday on Rittenhouse Street as we commemorated the anniversary day of the bombing of Nagasaki. I am not aware of ever experiencing such a depth of understanding and knowledge of human nuclear idiocy and the short sighted and deadly selfishness of the perpetrators of nuclear weapons and warfare.

I consider every aspect of atomic core weaponry and even reckless nuclear energy as the dumbest and a most dangerous science and no less than the evil-based rape of the atom.

Your presentation was a gripping revelation and an unveiling of the horror we have been subjected to as if we were of no more value than a swarm of mindless and heartless biting insects.

I was exposed to four atomic bombs in Nevada as an infantry soldier. Forgive me and the time I stole yesterday to tell a bit of my nuclear weapons exposure story..

I am attaching some information for your review if you wish. At times I feel narcissistic; so much of my work being about me. It takes motivational powers to tell others what we should not ignore or forget.
